Shree Maharishi Bhrigu, a realized Soul, is one of the greatest sages of ancient India, predating many years before Christ (BC). His fortes are 'Jyotisha’ (Vedic Astrology), ‘Kriya’ (yogic, meditative practice), and ‘Mantra’ (sacred Sanskrit verses that are chanted). He authored the ‘Bhrigu Samhita,’ one of the earliest works on astrology. Bhrigu Samhita contains the ‘kundali’ (horoscopes) of millions of 'jeevas' (embodied souls). The esoteric art of finding the exact kundali and interpreting it for each jeeva who comes seeking help, is passed down only through family lineage or through ‘guru-shishya parampara’ (guru-disciple tradition). Maharishi Bhrigu was well versed in, and in fact perfected Kriya meditative techniques, which can lead one to God Realization. He was also well versed in the divine science of Mantra(s), with which he removed the restlessness, delusions, and ignorance of many of his disciples through many generations. Guru Ji Sh. Sanjay Ji is also one of his eminent disciples predating back to the original Bhrigu ‘vansh’ (clan), and has been instrumental in spreading Maharishi Bhrigu's esoteric teachings of Jyotisha and Kriya (Gita Divya Kriya Yoga) through the Ashram environment.
The human mind is restless by nature. This restlessness is rooted in our breath. When we observe our breath, we find that when we get angry, our breath changes; when we are jealous, our breath changes; when we are engrossed in reading a book, our breath becomes soft; and so on. As the breath, so is the mind. An idle mind is a devil's workshop. If we keep the mind constantly engaged in a single task, it will quieten down. What kind of task can the mind be given? If the mind was given the task of observing the breath, eventually it will quieten down. If we can control the breath through a powerful meditative practice, we can control the mind. A peaceful mind can accomplish anything. This mind-breath interrelation has been regularly emphasized in Guru Ji Sh. Sanjay Ji's discourses.
Guru Ji Sh. Sanjay Ji travels frequently within the United States and abroad to conduct regular guided meditation sessions and to give spiritual discourses. Guru Ji Sh. Sanjay Ji is well versed in the ancient yogic scriptures from India including the popular Shrimad Bhagawad Gita, Yoga Vashishta, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Upanishads, Shrimad Bhagwatam, Mahabharata, Ramayana amidst other spiritual texts. In addition, Guru Ji Sh. Sanjay Ji guides individuals selflessly through the ancient divine science of Jyotisha.
Guru Ji Sh. Sanjay Ji & Guru Mata Chandrima Ji's direction for Shree Maharishi Bhrigu Ashram is to build an environment free of negative energy - where there is only pure love and compassion for every human being. They put much emphasis in steering individuals into a powerful meditative practice, so that they can maintain neutrality and calmness in all challenging situations that one encounters in life. Guru Ji Sh. Sanjay Ji initiates into, and teaches the Kriya techniques, Geeta Divya Kriya Yoga, as passed down from his Guru thus inspiring everyone to get into a daily meditative practice improving the quality of their lives by bringing peace, harmony and joy in their family, at work place,in society and the world at large.
